Versailles I take a day trip from Paris to Versailles, the huge castle and garden west of Paris. The castle is impressive.
Gardens
I go on a Sunday, which is good because I catch the water show, where they turn on all the fountains in the park and play classical music. It's not the Bellagio water-dances-to-music show - the water just shoots out of the fountains. But hey, this was all built several centuries ago so give the Louie Louies a break. |
